Apple's Compressor Application: preparing your video projects for DVD
•From Final Cut Pro: Select the Sequence window of the sequence you wish to prepare for DVD
•File>Export>Using Compressor
•In the Settings window:
•Select the Setting Tab:
•Locate: Apple older>DVD folder>DVD best 90 min folder
•Drag that folder to the to the bar showing your sequence file in the project window. See image below

•Back in the Settings window:
•Select the Destinations tab:
•Locate a "+" button on the top right:
•Press that button and select>local
•Find the appropriate Space on your hard-drive. (Do not forget this location or you will have difficulty locating your files)
•This will create a new destination in the Custom folder. Locate it and select it.
•In the "Inspector" area that is now visible to the right give your destination a name, ex: kyle firewire. See image below.

•Back in the Project window you have two horizontal bars next to your sequence icon (dobly digital.. & mpeg-2..) select both of them by selecting one and shift-clicking the other.
•From the application menu bar go to Target>Destination>"your custom destination" ex: kyle firewire
•Now select each of the bars and name the files something that makes sense to you. Leave the extensions after the period, for example the .ac3 and .m2v! REMEMBER THE NAMES! See image below.

•Select Submit button in bottom right of project window.
•Sect Submit again in the pop up window, do not worry about options or naming in this window.
•Your video files are now compressing. You can track progress in the History window.
